Hiring Parttime Clinical Bioethicist Consultant

The Center for Practical Bioethics (CPB) is seeking the parttime services of a Consultant Clinical Bioethicist.

This position, which reports directly to the Vice President of Ethics Services, will serve as part of a team of professional bioethicists who respond to cases and other activities relevant to healthcare ethics mechanisms. The CPB requires professional bioethicists to practice under agreements with healthcare organizations, serving by offering reasoned and neutral recommendations, mediation, and guidance of disparate opinions to a shared decision-making process that leads to best outcomes for patients and families. Remote or virtual consultations are the expected norm. We envision this candidate will work approximately 8 hours per week initially.

Candidates for Clinical Bioethicist will have 4+ years of clinical experience. Candidates with 0-3 years of experienced are encouraged to apply for the position as Clinical Bioethicist -In-Training.
