Your healthcare depends on good communication

A personal message from Nellie Kassebaum

Dear CPB Friend:

I was eager to join the Center for Practical Bioethics staff this year to collaborate with and learn from Dr. Erika Blacksher, a leading scholar of population health ethics and principal investigator on the Center’s Civic Population Health Project.

Together with our research team and expert advisory committee, we are working to identify best practices to talk about complex and hyper-politicized health issues with small groups of diverse people.

Recently, I completed my Master of Public Health degree with a focus in health communications. I believe, in times like these, that public health practitioners have an ethical obligation to appropriately communicate public health events.

Your gift to the Center will help build solidarity among people

who think they have nothing in common and

harness that power to effect real change.

I have found the Center for Practical Bioethics to be a special place filled with dedicated staff and board members whose work touches health and healthcare throughout the lifespan for all people.

I ask you to please donate to the Center today!

Sincerely,

Nellie Kassebaum, MPH
